• ​If you have never done modelling before, we may ask for photos as part of your application for modelling with He/Him Zine.​​ ​

• Casting or application photos are important for us to see what your body looks like right at this moment, unedited and without filters. ​That is the purpose of these photos.

• You do NOT need professional photos with your application. You can take them yourself, in a mirror or you can get someone to take them for you.

• Any camera or smartphone will produce high-resolution images. Submit your photos only in the highest original or raw file resolution possible.

• Ensure there is good or natural light in your photos. 

• Photos must be current. We don't accept old photos. We want to see what you look like right now. No filters or editing.

• Do not wax or shave your body. Keep hairstyles natural. Remove jewellery and peircings.

• Do not submit dark, blurry or out-of-focus photos.

• We encourage a plain, simple or neutral background.

• Please include head-to-toe images depicting your whole body.

• Include different angles; front/back/side profile etc.

• You do not have to be nude in your photos however it is recommended as we want to see your whole body, as well as your level of confidence as a model.

• Take clear photos of any tattoos, or prominent scars.

 

Remember: Be natural, relaxed and confidant. Keep it simple.
